Visit and Exchange with the Centre National pour victims de violences, 14 January 2026

The EFJCA received a warm welcome during our visit to the CNVV in Luxembourg on 14 January 2026. This recently opened initiative, funded by the Minister for Gender Equality and Diversity in Luxembourg, Yuriko Backes, and organized by the Luxembourg Red Cross, focuses on supporting victims of all forms of violence. Every victim is welcomed without judgment, regardless of gender, age, nationality, or type of violence.

The vision

Trauma-informed care, legal assistance, and all necessary support are provided. Based on the vision that help can be provided under one roof and that it is not up to the victim to travel to all these different services. After less than a year of operation, the service will be expanded to a 24/7 service starting May 2026.

Further collaboration

The EFJCA looks forward to further collaboration with the CNVV and to joint opportunities to support each other. We are happy to provide support where needed for the further rollout of a multidisciplinary approach.
