Presentation Femicide: Towards a Comprehensive National Framework for "Non-Fatal Strangulation" the experience in the Netherlands"
This presentation will share the results and implications of scientific research on non-fatal strangulation currently underway in three police regions in the Netherlands. The project adopts a comprehensive public health approach, bringing services as close to victims as possible while ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability through a national framework for practice.
Funded by the Ministry of Justice, the pilot covers approximately one-third of the Netherlands, with the ambition to extend the approach nationwide.
