Bio Carine Van Hee
Carine Van Hee is a visual artist, a speaker, and an author who uses her personal journey to shed light on the hidden dynamics of toxic relationships. As a survivor of both emotional and physical abuse, she shares raw experiences and sharp insights to help others recognize the invisible toxic patterns in their relationships at work, with friends, or in romance.
Carine's entire work focuses on the impact emotional abuse has on the victim's health: mentally, emotionally, and physically. She also busts the myths that words do not hurt, that only weak women become victims, and that healing is an easy 28-day program.
As an artist, Carine invites us on her healing journey, sharing her struggles to regain wholeness and how creativity remains a cornerstone in her quest to become a freer version of herself.
“See the system, support the victim” is what drives her today. Carine is one of the Voices of EFJCA.
