CERV CALL: Priority 2: Model of Family Justice Centres

March 17, 2025

The Call for proposals to prevent and combat gender-based violence and violence against children of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Value Programme of the European Commission (CERV-Daphne 2025), under Priority 2, gives the opportunity to “support the setting up/some activities of one-stop shop (in person and/or online) or coordinated specialist support centres, so that the multiple support needs of victims of gender-based violence (including cyberviolence) are addressed at the same premises to the largest extent or provided in a coordinated manner.

This includes the model of Children’s houses (Barnahus) or the model of the Family Justice Centres. These centres should also have the capacity of providing targeted and gender-sensitive support for groups at a heightened risk of violence due to their experiencing intersectional discrimination or due to their being in a vulnerable situation”.

EFJCA support

The EFJCA can support legal organizations (private or public, non-profit) in applying for this call by providing substantive information and support for the initiation, development, and operation of FJCs and related multidisciplinary centers, sharing best practices, connecting applicants with partner organizations (existing Family Justice Centers, related centers, and potential partners),...

As an umbrella organization, the EFJCA can also assist in project development if the application is approved by CERV. The EFJCA has a strong focus on intersectionality. The EFJCA works on gender-based cyberviolence and can provide advisory support in this area as well.

Deadline for application: 7 May 2025
